RESOLUTION 2000-095
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ISSUE A PURCHASE
ORDER TO POTELCOM SUPPLY, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF
VARIOUS ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT FOR THE ELECTRIC ENTER-
PRISE FUND.
WHEREAS, the City of Seward desires to purchase various electrical material for the
Electric Enterprise Fund; and
WHEREAS, quotes were received from various supplies to ensure the lowest prices for this
material were obtained; and
WHEREAS, this material is necessary for the operation of the Electric Utility;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to issue a Purchase Order to Pote1com Supply,
Inc. for the purchase of6 - 15kV, Pole Mounted Transformers at a cost of $2,400.00; 5390 ft. of
15kV primary cable (220 mil) at a cost of$7,546.00; and 100 - 1/0 - 2/0 Distribution Connectors at
a cost of $400.00; for a total purchase order price of$1O,406.
Section 2.. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this II th day
of September, 2000.
