RESOLUTION 2000-119
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE AN
"ELLIOTT" PRIMARY METERING CABINET FROM POTELCOM FOR
A PRICE NOT-TO-EXCEED $14,780.00.
WHEREAS, the City of Seward has issued a request for bids for a Primary Metering Cabinet
for use in the Seward Fish job being installed by the Electrical Department; and,
WHEREAS, three responders provided prices for equipment which could do the job to
varying degrees; and,
WHEREAS, two of the bids do not meet specifications for the project; and,
WHEREAS, Pote1com has provided a bid of $14,780.00 for a Primary Metering Cabinet
which does meet specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to issue a Purchase Order to Pote1com, Inc. for
an amount not-to-exceed $14,780.00 for the purchase of an Elliott Primary Metering Cabinet.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 9th day
of October, 2000.
