RESOLUTION 2000-130
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
THREE YEAR CONTRACT WITH THE INTERNATIONAL BROTHER-
HOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS (IBEW) EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 9,
2000 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2003
WHEREAS, the City of Seward and the IBEW Union have negotiated and agreed upon a
new contract governing the wages and working conditions for electrical linemen employed by the
City; and
WHEREAS, the City and the Union agree to the terms and conditions as outlined in the
attached contract which expires June 30, 2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with the International
Brotherhood of Electrical Workers effective October 9,2000 and continuing until June 30, 2003.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council ofthe city of Seward, Alaska, this 6th day
of November, 2000.
