RESOLUTION 2000-151
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, APPROVING THE SYSTEMS MANAGER POSITION FOR
THE CITY'S MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS AT PAY
RANGE 22 WITHIN THE CITY'S PAY CLASSIFICATION PLAN
WHEREAS, the approved calendar year 2001 budget created a new full-time regular
position to help the City maintain its management information systems; and
WHEREAS, during the CY2001 budget process there was discussion concerning the
need to have a full-time in-house position to maintain the increasing needs and demands on the
City's management information systems; and
WHEREAS, the Systems Manager will be tasked with the responsibility to maintain
the City's management information systems; and
WHEREAS, the pay range within the City's Pay Classification Plan for this position
will be established at range 22 which provides a salary range from $44,699.20 to $55,764.80.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Systems Manager position for the City's management information
systems position at Pay Range 22 within the City's Pay Classification Plan is approved.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect on January 1,2001.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 11
day of December, 2000.
