CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA <br /> RESOLUTION 2010 -084 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, <br /> ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO REASSIGN <br /> SUPERVISORY DUTIES FROM THE DEPUTY HARBORMASTER TO THE <br /> SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT REDUCING THE RANGE FOR <br /> THE DEPUTY HARBORMASTER TO A RANGE 16.5 -18.5 AND <br /> INCREASING THE RANGE FOR THE SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE <br /> ASSISTANT TO A RANGE 12 -14. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has developed a plan to reassign the supervision of the <br /> Harbormaster's office staff from the Deputy Harbormaster to the Senior Administrative Assistant's <br /> position; and <br /> WHEREAS, there is an opportunity with vacant positions to implement these changes with <br /> minimal impact to existing staff; and <br /> WHEREAS, there would be no additional funding required to the Seward Harbor Enterprise <br /> fund or the Seward Marine Industrial Center Enterprise fund for this reassignment of duties. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SEWARD, ALASKA that: <br /> Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to reassign the duties of the Senior <br /> Administrative Assistant from a Range 11.5 -13.5 to a range 12 -14. <br /> Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to reassign the duties of the Deputy Harbormaster <br /> from a range 17 -19 to a range 16.5 -18.5 <br /> Section 3.
