HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes2012-010 Sponsored by: Applicant CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESOLUTION 2012 -10 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, RECOMMENDING KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH APPROVAL OF THE PRELIMINARY REPLAT OF LOTS 26 -28, BLOCK 13, ORIGINAL TOWNSITE OF SEWARD, WILSON REPLAT, CREATING ONE LOT TO BE KNOWN AS LOT 26A, LOCATED AT 312 FIRST AVENUE WHEREAS, Cline and Associates Land Surveyors submitted a preliminary plat to the City of Seward for review and recommendation to the Kenai Peninsula Borough; and WHEREAS, this replat combines three (3) existing lots -- Lots 26 through 28, Block 13, Original Townsite of Seward -- into one (1) new lot; and r.• WHEREAS, the one (1) lot to be known as Lot 26A will consist of 8,991 square feet; and WHEREAS, the property is zoned Residential R -1; and WHEREAS, the property is currently serviced by municipal water, sewer, electric and other utilities; and WHEREAS, City staff have stated that a subdivision installation agreement is not required for this replat. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning Commission that: Section 1. The Commission recommends the Kenai Peninsula Borough approve the Seward Original Townsite, Wilson Replat combining Lots 26 through 28, Block 13, into one (1) new lot to be known as Lot 26A, of approximately 8,991 square feet. Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
