Could you please pass this message onto the City Council members for next week's meeting?
Dear Seward City Council Members-
I am requesting that you consider adding a line item onto the City and State priorities list. Our sewage lagoon and
existing infrastructure is aging. I realize some funding has been recently authorized to help with previous deferred
maintenance that was not completed. However,this system is beginning to exceed its useful life, and we need to begin
planning and budgeting for this future expense. I don't want our community to suffer from a failed sewer system,
especially with the increasing demands from our expanding tourism industry. (Look at the problems Talkeetna is
currently facing.)
