CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 80-20
A RESOLUTION SETTING FEES FOR THE SEWARD MUNICIPAL
SMALL BOAT HARBOR, AMENDING SECTION 1 OF RESOLUTION NO. 77-36
WHEREAS the Seward Advisory Harbor Commission has reviewed the current
rates charged for moorage in the Small Boat Harbor, pursuant to Resolution No. 77-36
approved by the City Council on October 10, 1977, and
WHEREAS, at the Harbor Commission meeting of February, 27, 1980, the
Commission made specific recommendations to increase moorage rates for the Harbor
facility, and
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs with the Harbor Commission's
recommendations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, that Section 1 of Resolution No. 77-36 is hereby repealed and
re-enacted as follows:
SECTION 1. MOORAGE FEES
(a) Preferential moorage - For rental of the below-
described mooring berths, the designated charges
shall be made with all such charges due and shall
be paid in advance

SECTION 1. MOORAGE FEES (cont'd)
(b) Transient moorage - The annual rate for transient
moorage shall be 75 percent of the preferential
moorage rate as established by the length of
the vessel, and shall be paid in advance.
The daily rate for transient moorage shall
be as follows:
VESSEL LENGTH DAILY RATE
32' and under $ 2.00
over 34' and up to 64' 4.00
over 64' and up to 85' 6.00
over 85' and up to 104' 8.00
over 104' and up to 124' 10.00
over 124' and up to 144' 12.00
over 144' and up to 164' 14.00
over 164' and up to 184' 16.00
over 184' 20.00
(c) City Dock - The City Dock is hereby declared a
working dock and all moorage shall be on the basis
of the daily rate established for transient moorage.
No vessels shall be permitted to moor in excess of
14 days at the City Dock without prior express
permission from the Harbormaster.
Cargo loading and unloading shall have priority use
of the City Dock at all times.
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the rates as set forth in this
resolution shall become effective July 1, 1980
