CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 80-35
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1979-80
FISCAL YEAR BUDGET BY TRANSFERING APPROPRIATIONS
WITHIN SAID BUDGET
WHEREAS, funds were appropriated in 1978-79 for City share
of Bayview Water & Sewer, but were not carried over to 1979-80 budget;
and
WHEREAS, fluctuating prices caused by high inflation have
created higher expenditures in certain departments; and
WHEREAS, economy measures have created surplus in other
departments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that these amendments to the 1979-80 Fiscal
Year Budget shall be made:
DECREASE
City Manager $ 9,000
Finance 15,000
Personnel 18,000
Treasurer 3,000
Building Inspection 3,000
Street Department 20,000
Total $ 68,000
INCREASE
Mayor and Council $ 25,000
City Clerk 3,000
General Services 25,000
Municipal Building 15,000
Total $ 68,000
