CITY OF SEWARD
RESOLUTION No. 44
1
2 WHEREAS, a petition for the adoption of the City Manager Plan of
goverrunent for the city of Seward, signed by not less than twenty-five per
3 cent (25%) of the registered voters of the city of Seward at the last munici-
pal election was presented to the cOIlllllon council of the city of Seward, and

WHISREAS, upon the presentation of said petition, the cOIlllllon council
5 of said city did provide for the submission of the question to the qualified
voters of the city of Seward at the next General Election to determine whether
6 the people of Seward desired to adopt such plan of government, and
7 WHEREAS, said general election was held on the 6th day of October,
1953 and was conducted in conformity with existing law and ordinances and
8 resolves of the common council of the city of Seward, and
9 WHEREAS, it appears from the certificate of election that a majority
of the votes cast at said election were in favor of the adoption of the City
10 Manager Plan,
11 NO/V, THEREFORE, IE IT RESOLVED by the COIlllllon Council of the city of
Seward,

THAT the City Manager Plan be, and hereby is adopted for the govern-
ment of the City of Seward, Alaska.
