<br />r <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. ~ () <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DIRECTING TAX DEED TO BE ISSUED TO THE CITY OF' <br />SEWARD, ALASKA, FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF <br />SEW ARD. <br /> <br />3 <br />4 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at public auction held on the 14th day of October, 1Q39, <br />in pursuance of an order of sale made and entered in the District Court for <br />the Territory of Alaska, Third Judicial Division on the 8th day of August, <br />1939, the City of Seward became the purchaser of Lots Ten (10) and Eleven <br />(11) of Block Seventeen (17) in the Federal Addition to the Original Townsite <br />of Seward, Alaska, according to the official Plat thereof, having bid therefor <br />the amount due on said Lots, including the tax, penalty, interest and costs <br />due and delinquent thereon for the year 1938, and <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />WHE~REAS, a period long in excess of two years has elapsed since <br />the date of said sale and no redemption has been made therefrom, and the <br />City of Seward has long been entitled to a Tax Deed to said Lots, NOIN, <br />THEREFOHE, <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />10 i' <br />II <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SEWARD, ALASKA: <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />That RUSSELL PAINTER, as Mayor, and SIGRID STEARNS, as City <br />Clerk, execute a Tax Deed to said Lots hereinbefore, in this resolution, <br />described, to have and to hold the title to said Lots unto the City of Seward, <br />Alaska, and those holding by, through or under it, forever. <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />15 ! <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />DATEDthis t:, <br /> <br />day of July, 1951,. <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />~.() 4~~-.1 <br />CITY C R~ <br />City of Seward, Alaska <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br />:~r/~ 2A4/~;aLi/ <br /> <br />22!
