RESOLUTION NO. .J!L
WHEREAS, on the third day of October, 1955, the Common Council
of the City of Seward at its regular meeting, considered the proposed Special
Use Permit for transmission and distribution line in the Chugach National
Forest and approved the same, pending the approval by the Utility Board,
and subject to the favorable recommendation by the City Attorney and the
Utility Board, and
WHEREAS, a favorable recommendation was received by the City
from the City Attorney and the Utility Board on October 4, 1955, and
WHEREAS, the said Special Use Permit provides that the City shall
furnish a bond in the amount of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25, 000.00) to
guarantee the construction of said transmission and distribution line,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council
of the City of Seward that the Mayor of said city, Gilbert C. Anthon y, is
hereby authorized to obtain and sign a surety bond on behalf of the city in the
amount of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) from the LeBow-Haynes
Company, of Alaska, Inc.

WHEREAS, on the third day of October, 1955, the Conmon
Council of the City of Seward at its regular meeting, considered
the proposed Special Use Permit for transmission and distribution
line in the Chugach National Forest and approved the same, pending
the approval by the Utility Board, and subject to the favorable
reconunendation by the City Attorney and the Utility Board, and
WHEREAS, a favorable recommendation was received by the
City from the City Attorney and the Utility Board on October 4,
1955, and
WHEREAS, the said Special Use Permit provides that the City
shall furnish a bond in the amount of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars
($25,000.00) to guarantee the construction of said transmission
and distribution line,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the
City of Seward that the Mayor of said city, Gilbert C. Anthony, is
hereby authorized to sign the bond application under Unitsd States
Fidelity & Guaranty Company.
