RESOL UTION NO. 96
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN APPLICATION TO BE FILED W1TH THE
FEDERAL POWER COMMISSION FOR THE CITY OF SEWARD TO CONSTRUC
THE CRESCENT LAKE HYDRO ELECTRIC PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of Seward has undertaken to construct a hydro
electric plant at Crescent Lake, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to acquire a permit from the Federal
Power Commission for the construction of said project, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA:
That an application be filed with the Federal Power Commission
for the City of Seward to construct the Crescent Lake hydro electric project
with 3750 KVA initial capacity and 11250 KVA ultimate capacity, together with
the necessary transmission and distribution system, as outlined in the plans
of the City's engineering consultant, Howard T. Harstad & Associates, of
Seattle, Washington.
