SEWARD, ALASKA
OFFICE OF:
RESOLUTION
No. 123
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, that
the following named persons shall act as Judges, Clerks, and an Inspector
of Election at the Territorial Primary and Special Election to be held
TUESDAY, AUGUST 26, 1958. Said Primary and Special Election to be held
for the following purposes;
(1) To nominate candidates of the various political parties
of Alaska for the following offices, to wit:
A Governor of Alaska
A Secretary of Alaska
Two (2) United states Senators
(2) To adopt or reject, by separate ballot on each, the three propositions
relating to statehood.
One (1) United states Representative
Twenty (20) State Sentors
Forty (40) State Representatives

The rules governing the passage and approval of Resolutions are hereby
suspended and this Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its
introduction and passage this 31st day of July, 1958
