RESOLUTION NO. 207
WHEREAS, City of Seward-Seward Water S:rstem, applicant to Housing and Home Finance
Agency, Community Facilities Administration, for an advance to provide for planning
of public works under the terms of Public Law 560, 83rd Congress of the United
States, as amended, has filed application No. P-Alaska 3040 including Resolution
No. 150 naming Ray F. James, Acting City Manager as authorized representative, and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 184 passed and approved by the City Council on November
7, 1960 named Chester A. Kunz, City Manager, as authorized representative of the
City of Seward, and
WHEREAS, Ray F. James was named Acting City l1anager of the City of Seward effective
l1arch 25, 1961,
NO'.i, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY 'fue COJmllon Council of the City of Seward, Alaska,
the governing body of said Applicant as follows:
1. The Said Ray F. James, Acting City Manager, is hereby authorized to
furnish such information and take such other action as may be
necessary to enable the applioant to qualify for the advance;
2. That the officer designated in the preceding paragraph is hereby
designated as the authorized representative of the Applicant for
the purpose of furnishing to the United States such information, data,
and documents pertaining to the application for an advance as may be
required; and otherwise to aet as the authorized representative of
the Applicant in connection with this appliCation.
This Resolution to be in full force and effect upon passage and
