RESOLUTION 2002-088
A RESOLUTION SUBMITTING THE PRIORITIZED LIST OF
CAPITAL PROJECTS AND REQUESTING FUNDING UNDER THE
ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION
MUNICIPAL MATCHING GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, a municipality is required under AS 37 and the ADEC Municipal Matching
Grant Program to submit a prioritized list of water and sewer capital projects if funding is requested
by the Municipality under the Municipal Matching Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, it is required under AS 37 to provide a local matching share for capital
projects funded through the Municipal Matching Grant Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City of Seward, by this resolution, hereby endorses and authorizes the.
following priority list for Alaska Department of Environmental conservation Municipal Matching
Grants.
Priority 1:
Upgrade & Realignment of3rd Avenue Water Main
Priority 2:
Sewer Line from Gateway to Forest Acres Subdivision
Priority 3:
Water & Sewer Extension to the Airport
Section 2.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, this 9th day of
September, 2002
