CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 81-40
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A MANAGEMENT SUBCONTRACT
WITH SEWARD LIFE ACTION COUNCIL FOR ADMINISTERING THE
DAY CARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM GRANT
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska, Department of Community and Regional
Affairs has awarded a Day Care Assistance Program contract to the City of
Seward for the period July 1, 1981 to June 30, 1982, and
WHEREAS, the City requested proposals from qualified individuals
to administer the Day Care Assistance Program contract, and
WHEREAS, the Seward Life Action Council was the sole respondent
to the request for proposals, and
WHEREAS, Seward Life Action Council meets the requirements
established by the State to administer the Day Care Assistance Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to subcontract the
administration of the Day Care Assistance Program grant to Seward Life Action
Council for fiscal year 1982.

Section 2. This resolution takes effect immediately upon its
