CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION No. 81-42
RESOLUTION REQUESTING STATE
MUNICIPAL ASSISTANCE REVENUE SHARING
WHEREAS, AS 43.20.016 provides for a municipal
assistance fund; and
WHEREAS, FCCSSB 236 (1981) amended AS 43.20.016
to require that municipalities submit a resolution to
the State of Alaska, Department of Revenue, requesting
these funds; and
WHEREAS, FCCSSB 236 (1981) also designates the
time at which the municipal assistnace appropriation
lS to be distributed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Municipal Assistance Revenue
Sharing funds for FY 1982 are hereby requested.
Section 2. The City of Sewara fiscal year begins
July 1 and ends June 30.
Section 3. This resolution takes effect immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City
of Seward, Alaska, this 14th day of September, 1981.
