[L2Q A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, PROVIDING FOR SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION. WHEREAS, the City's accountants, Price Waterhouse & Company, have concluded an audit of the financial activities of the City for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1981, and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed that audit and the presentation made to the City Council, and WHEREAS, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1981, actual revenues exceeded anticipated revenues by SEVENTY-FOUR THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY-NINE DOLLARS ($74,289.00), and WHEREAS, actual expenditures exceeded proposed expenditures by EIGHTEEN THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-SIX DOLLARS ($18,136.00), and WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 6 of the City Charter and Section 10-2 of the City Code the proposed expenditures set forth in the budget for fiscal year ending June 30, 1981, did not exceed expected revenues, but there is the possibility that funds in excess of those previously appropriated may ultimately be drawn to pay expenditures recognized as of June 30, 1981. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that Section 1. An appropriation of an amount up to, but not to exceed EIGHTEEN THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-SIX DOLLARS ($18,136.00) is hereby made as a supplemental appropriation to that contained in the 1980-1981 fiscal budget. Section 2. The audited financial statements and information prepared by Price Waterhouse & Company for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1981, are accepted.
