CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 82-5
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING RATES FOR ELECTRIC POWER
WHEREAS, Chapter 22.10.050 of the Seward City Code requires
that electrical rates shall be fixed by resolution; and
WHEREAS, Chugach Electric Association (CEA) has and continues
to raise the wholesale electric rate to the City of Seward; and
WHEREAS, CEA has submitted to the City of Seward a "true-up"
billing for increased wholesale electric rate for the past three years
in the amount of $152,000; and
WHEREAS, the present electric rate charged to the retail
electric customer does not reflect the above referenced CEA increases;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Schedule of rates for electric power shall be
extablished by class as follows:
