RESOLUTION 2002-027
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANGER TO CONTINUE THE
LEASE OF LOT 11, BLOCK 6, SEWARD SMALL BOAT HARBOR
SUBDIVISION TO THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE THROUGH
SEPTEMBER 30, 2002
WHEREAS, the City of Seward has leased Lot 11, Block 6, Seward Small Boat Harbor
Subdivision to the Chamber of Commerce since 1989 at no cost; and
WHEREAS, the lease expires on July 12, 2002; and
WHEREAS, the Chamber of Commerce has utilized the site two weeks each year for the
Silver Salmon Derby Booth, and has sublet the site since 1996.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Seward,
Alaska that:
Section 1. It is further authorized that the City Manager continues the lease of the Lot 11,
Block 6, Seward Small Boat Harbor Subdivision to the Chamber of Commerce through September
30, 2002.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Seward this 25th day of
March, 2002.
