RESOLUTION 2001-030
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PAY YUKON
EQUIPMENT $14,019.92 FOR REPAIRS TO THE ELECTRIC DEPART-
MENT CASE 580 BACK-HOE
WHEREAS, the Electric Department purchased a Case 580 Back-Hoe in 1991 and it has
been in constant use since that time; and
WHEREAS, the unit has worn to the point where certain bushings, seals and pins need to
be replaced to render the Back-Hoe safe to operate; and
WHEREAS, Yukon Equipment has repaired the unit for a price of$14,019.92.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to pay Yukon Equipment $14,019.92 for repairs
to the Electric Department Case 580 Back-Hoe.
Section 2. Funding to be from Account 501-5400-5380.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 26th
day of February, 2001.
