RESOLUTION 2001-060
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA APPROVING PURCHASE ORDER #25503 IN THE AMOUNT OF
$10,312.89 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PAY MATE-
RIAL COSTS FOR VALLEY DETROIT DIESEL ALLISON EQUIPMENT
IN THE AMOUNT OF $323.52 PLUS $86.75 FREIGHT COSTS.
WHEREAS, the City shop ordered parts for the Electrical Department Stand-by Generators
which originally did not exceed the $10,000 limit but did go over the limit when freight was added;
and
WHEREAS, these parts are necessary for the maintenance of the Stand-by Diesel
Generators; and
WHEREAS, all parts have been received and paid for except $323.52 for parts ordered after
the original purchase order was signed, and the $86.75 freight charge for these parts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Purchase Order #25503 which ordered parts for the Ft. Raymond Stand-by Diesel
Generators, in the amount of$10,312.89, is approved and the City Manager is authorized to pay
outstanding costs in the amount of$323.52 for parts and $86.75 for freight.
Section 2. This Resolution will take effect immediately.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council ofthe city of Seward, Alaska, this 23rd
day of April, 2001.
