RESOLUTION 2001-069
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXTEND THE
CONTRACT WITH CRW ENGINEERING GROUP TO PROVIDE ENGI-
NEERING DESIGN WORK FOR WATER AND SEWER PROJECTS FOR
AN AMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED $177,590
WHEREAS, CRW Engineering Group has worked for the City on various projects over the
last several years and has recent finished the water and sewer analyses for the City; and,
WHEREAS, the City has in its CY2001 Capital Budget, $189,200 for sewer and water
engineering design work; and,
WHEREAS, CRW is familiar with the City's systems and is ready to go to work on these
projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. City Manager is authorized to extend the existing contract with CR W Engineering
Group for an amount not-to-exceed $177,590.
Section 2, Ifneeded additional funding in the amount of $5,149 is hereby appropriated from
the General Fund Project Management Revenues, Account No. 101-0-4410-0410, to the Water and
Sewer Systems project, contracted services, account XXX-XXXX-5390 ($5,590) and administrative
expense account XXX-XXXX-5580-0200 ($559).
Section 3. The water line from Gateway to Forest Acres Subdivision and an additional
storage tank are the two projects to be completed with the designated funds.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, this 29th
day of May, 2001.
