CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION 2001-099
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INCREASE THE
AMOUNT PAID TO TRAILBOSS, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,770.42,
FOR ADDITIONAL PAVING THAT WAS NEEDED IN THE AREA OF "J"
DOCK AND AT THE SOUTH END OF THE HARBORMASTERS BUILDING
WHEREAS, The City Council previously authorized $41 ,288.20 in Resolution 2001-
074 for paving of various locations by Trailboss, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, Trailboss, Inc. was requested to provide additional paving (939 sq. ft.)
at the same price of $2.95/sq. ft. for a total addition of $2,770.42 to the contract price; and,
WHEREAS, The additional paving was requested by the Harbor Department and
will be billed to their account;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to increase the authorized amount
under Resolution 01-074 from $41 ,228.20 to $44,058.62 and authorizing a final payment of
$2,770.42 to Trailboss, Inc., which will complete the contract
Section 2. This Resolution to take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 13
day of August, 2001.
