RESOLUTION NO. 2001-142
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
APPROVE A CHANGE ORDER FOR PURCHASE ORDER # 26159 IN
THE AMOUNT OF $6,317.50 TO RESURRECTION RENTALS FOR
PORT-A-POTTY RENTALS
WHEREAS, every year, portable toilets are needed in the city parks, campgrounds and
play fields to accommodate the public; and
WHEREAS, at the end of the fiscal year, the services required were over budget by
$6,317.50; and
WHEREAS, the sports and recreation division budget is under budget in other line items
to compensate for this overage; and
WHEREAS, and Council action is required to authorize any amount exceeding $10,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to approve a change order for
purchase order # 26158, for the sum of$6,317.50 to Resurrection Rentals.
Section 2.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska this 5th
day of November, 2001.
