RESOLUTION 2000-007
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, REAPPROPRIATING $5,000 FROM THE GENERAL FUND
FUND BALANCE ACCOUNT NO. 101-0000-3050 TO ROADS AND STREETS
EQUIPMENT ACCOUNT NO. 101-1314-5930 TO PAY FORA SAND-BOX
WmCH WAS FUNDED, ORDERED, BUT NOT RECEIVED IN THE LAST
BUDGET YEAR.
WHEREAS, Council authorized funding for purchase ofa used, I-ton pickup for $18,000
and a new sand-box for the vehicle for $5,000 in Resolution 99-176; and
WHEREAS, the vehicle was received and paid for in the last budget year; and
WHEREAS, the sand-box was ordered but not received in the last budget year; and
WHEREAS~t is now necessary to reappropriate the funding for the sand-box to the current
fiscal year by transferring $5,000 from General Fund Fund Balance Account 101-0000-3050 to Roads
and Streets Equipment Account No. 101-1314-5930;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to reappropriate $5,000 from General Fund Fund
Balance Account 101-0000-3050 to Roads and Streets Equipment Account No. 101-1314-5930 for
the purchase ofa new stainless steel sand-box as authorized by Council Resolution 99-176.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, this 10th
day ofJanuary, 2000.
