CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-008
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH XEROX
FOR THE PURPOSE OF UPGRADING THE CITY COPIER
WHEREAS, the lease on the current 1075 Model Xerox copier
expires in April, 1990; and
WHEREAS, Xerox has approached the city with an offer to
upgrade the current copier to a Model 1090 at a reduced monthly
cost; and
WHEREAS, the current copier is showing signs of wear which
increases the amount of downtime and service needed as it gets
older; and
WHEREAS, the features of the Model 1090 will save time which
will increase efficiency and productivity;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to issue
a purchase order and to execute a five year lease agreement with
Xerox for the purpose of upgrading the current copier, Model 1075
to a new copier, Model 1090.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 22nd day of January, 1990.
