CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-044
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
STRIPING STREETS AND CROSSWALKS
WHEREAS, on April 19, 1990, the city advertised a request for
bids to stripe certain city streets, parking lots and crosswalks;
and
WHEREAS, only one bid was received; and
WHEREAS, funding for this project was budgeted in the FY 1990
Street Maintenance Budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a
contract for striping of certain city streets, parking lots and
crosswalks to Anchorage Lot Striping for a contract amount not to
exceed Sixteen Thousand, Seven Hundred Forty-Seven Dollars
($16,747).
Section 2. A project account in the amount of Eighteen
Thousand, Four Hundred Twenty-Two Dollars ($18,422), including a
change order contingency of One Thousand, Six Hundred Seventy Five
Dollars ($1,675) is hereby established.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 14th day of May, 1990.
