CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-045
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AWARDING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
TO KPMG PEAT MARWICK FOR CITY AUDIT SERVICES
WHEREAS, on April 12, 1990, the city advertised a request for
proposals for audit services for three years beginning with the
year ending June 30, 1990; and
and
WHEREAS, four proposals were received from qualified firms;
WHEREAS, the proposals were reviewed by an evaluation
committee from the city and the hospital; and
WHEREAS, KPMG Peat Marwick was found to be the best qualified
firm to provide the greatest benefit to the City of Seward;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a
professional services agreement for city audit services for three
years beginning with the year ending June 30, 1990, to KPMG Peat
Marwick for an annual amount not to exceed Thirty Five Thousand,
Seven Hundred Dollars ($35,700).
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 29th day of May, 1990.
