CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-053
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR
CITY PARTICIPATION IN KATFA 1990
WHEREAS, the Korea-Alaska Trade Fair (KATFA) will be conducted
on June 18-20, 1990, in Seoul, Korea; and
WHEREAS, KATFA's purpose is to improve communication between
Alaskan communities and Korea in areas of commerce and tourism; and
WHEREAS, the city of Seward wishes to continue and expand its
commerce and friendship with Korea;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sales Tax Revenue Account No. 101-
0000-4120-0100 to the Mayor and Council Travel Account No. 101-
1110-5140-0000.
Section 2. Be it further RESOLVED that Mayor William C. Noll,
assisted by In Jae Kim, shall be the city's official representative
at KATFA 1990.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 11th day of June, 1990.
