CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-148
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, FINDING IT IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST
TO REJECT ALL BIDS RECEIVED TO CONSTRUCT
THE CAMELOT SUBDIVISION ELECTRICAL IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, a request for proposals to design and construct 0.8
miles of overhead primary electric facilities in Camelot Subdivi-
sion was properly advertised by the city of Seward: and
WHEREAS, only two firms responded to the request for propos-
als: and
WHEREAS, both proposals received far exceeded the funds
available for the project:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
section 1. It is in the public interest to reject all bids
received in response to the request for proposals to design and
construct Camelot Subdivision electrical improvements.
section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 26th day of November, 1990.
