RESOLUTION 2000-026
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, APPROVING INLET FISH PRODUCERS, INCORPORATED,
LAND LEASE, LEASE NUMBER RE-94-087, AMENDMENT NUMBER 4,
EXERCISING THE OPTION TO EXTEND THE LEASE TERM FOR ONE
ADDITIONAL YEAR.
WHEREAS, on June 28, 1999, the City entered into a lease agreement with Inlet Fish
Producers, Incorporated, for a parcel ofland described as Lot 4, Block 3, Fourth of July Creek; and
WHEREAS, this lease expires on June 30, 2000, with the option to extend the lease one
additional year; and
WHEREAS, Inlet Fish Producers, Incorporated, desires to amend the lease agreement by
exercising their option to extend the lease term to June 30, 2001, with no further options to extend;
and
WHEREAS, the Seward Marine Industrial Center upland area is under-used; and
WHEREAS, there are no proposals with a higher and better use for this property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Amendment Number 4 to the Inlet Fish Producers, Incorporated, lease of Lot 4,
Block 3, Fourth of July Creek Subdivision, Seward Marine Industrial Center, Lease RE-94-087 is
hereby approved.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized and directed to execute Amendment Number 4
to Lease Number RE-94-087.
Section 3. A copy of the amendment is attached and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 13th day
of March, 2000.

THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, a home rule municipal corporation, organized and existing
under the laws of the State of Alaska, hereinafter referred to as "CITY", and INLET FISH PRODUCERS,
INC., PO Box 114, Kenai, Alaska 99611, hereinafter referred to as "LESSEE", hereby agree that the Lease
Amendment NO.3 between them for Lot 4 Block 3, Fourth of July Creek Subdivision Seward Marine
Industrial Center, and approved by City of Seward Resolution 99-087 as Recorded in Book 97 on Page 777
be amended as follows:
ITEM 1. ARTICLE n. LEASE TERM
Delete Paragraph 2.1 in its entirety and substitute in its stead:
2.1 Lease Term. The LEASE term shall be extended one year in accordance with CITY
authorization Resolution No. 00- (the "RESOLUTION'), attached and incorporated herein by
reference as Exhibit D. The term of the LEASE shall commence with the effective date of the
RESOLUTION, and end June 30,2001.
Delete Paragraph 2.4 in its entirety.
In all other respects, the Lease is to remain unchanged and in full force between the undersigned
parties.
