CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 2000-041
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, APPROVING A REVISED CYOO PARKING REVENUE
ENTERPRISE FUND BUDGET
WHEREAS, parking management and paid parking have had significant positive impacts on
the flow of traffic and parking in the harbor and downtown areas; and
WHEREAS, the City will manage parking for the 2000 season; and
WHEREAS, a revised budget is necessary to pay for necessary equipment, facilities, and lot
improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that: .
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to manage parking for the 2000 season.
Section 2. A revised CY2000 operating and capital budget for the Parking Revenue
Enterprise Fund; appropriating an additional $10,017 from Parking Revenue Enterprise Fund
Retained Earnings account #403-0000-3050 to the Parking Revenue Enterprise Fund accounts as
attached, and appropriating $50,000 from Retained Earnings account #403-0000-3075-XXX to
Employee Lot Paving account #XXX-XXXX-XXXX, is approved.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, this 24th
day of April, 2000.
