CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-066
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AWARDING A CONTRACT
FOR PHASE 1, STREET IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, a request for bids for Phase 1, 1990 Street Improve-
ments, was publicly advertised on May 29, 1990; and
WHEREAS,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a
contract to Summit Paving and Construction, Inc., in the amount of
Two Hundred and Thirty-Three Thousand, Nine Hundred and Fifteen
Dollars and Forty Cents ($233,915.40).
Section 2. The City Manager is further authorized to
establish a project account totalling Two Hundred Forty-Five
Thousand, Six Hundred and Eleven Dollars and Fifteen Cents
($245,611.15), which includes a change order contingency of Eleven
THousand, Six Hundred Ninety-Five Dollars and Seventy-Five Cents
($11,695.75).
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 25th day of June, 1990.
