CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-072
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM
THE SMIC SPECIAL REVENUE FUND TO REIMBURSE
THE HARBOR FUND FOR SHIPLIFT REPAIR
WHEREAS, damage was incurred in Fiscal Year 1989 to the
shiplift at the Seward Marine Industrial Center; and
WHEREAS, the Harbor Fund transferred $202,000.00 to the SMIC
Fund to cover the costs of repair to the shiplift; and
WHEREAS, insurance monies have been paid to SMIC to date in
the amount of $200,000.00 in reimbursement for this damage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000)
is hereby transferred from the SMIC Special Revenue Account No.
417-0000-3070 to the Harbor Fund Balance Transfer Account No. 401-
0000-3070.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 25th day of June, 1990.
