CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-079
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING AN ASSIGNMENT OF
LEASE RE-049 FROM STEVE HACKETT TO ALASKA TREKS H
VOYAGES, INC., TO INTEC, INC., AND APPROVING THE EXERCISE
OF A LEASE RENEWAL OPTION FOR AN ADDITIONAL 5-YEAR PERIOD
WHEREAS, on June 12, 1985, the city leased to Steve W. Hackett
and Megs Testarmata a portion of Block 6, Oceanview Subdivision,
known as Lease RE-049, for a period of five years (through June 11,
1990) with an additional five year renewal option; and
WHEREAS, on August 13, 1985, a Partnership Dissolution was
completed by which Megs Testarmata released all claims to any
partnership interest in Alaska Treks n Voyages; and
WHEREAS, on May 26, 1987, the business became incorporated in
the state of Alaska as Corporation No. 40296D, Alaska Treks n
Voyages, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, Alaska Treks n Voyages, Inc., has requested to
exercise the lease renewal option for an additional five years
through June 11, 1985; and
WHEREAS, Alaska Treks n Voyages, Inc., has completed a sales
agreement and has requested assignment of its lease interest to
Intec, Inc.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:

Section 1. The City Council recognizes
dissolution of Steve Hackett and Megs Testarmata,
n Voyages, effective August 13, 1985.
Section 2. Effective May 26, 1987, the City Council consents
to the assignment of lease RE-049 from Steve Hackett, dba Alaska
Treks n Voyages, to Alaska Treks n Voyages, Inc., an Alaskan
corporation.
Section 3. The City Council consents to the lessee exercising
the lease renewal option for a five year period through June 11,
1995 with a new lease rate effective July 1, 1990 to be determined
by fair market value appraisal.
Section 4. The City Council consents to the assignment of
Lease RE-049 from Alaska Treks n Voyages, Inc., to Intec, Inc.

Section 5. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 9th day of July, 1990.
