CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-083
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF
THE DAVES CREEK INTERTIE PROJECT TO THE CITY
WHEREAS, the Alaska State Legislature provided funding for the
Seward to Daves Creek Intertie Project through a grant administered
by the Alaska Energy Authority; and
WHEREAS, the grant monies have been appropriately spent and
the Project has been satisfactorily completed as evidenced by
inspection by the Alaska Energy Authority; and
WHEREAS, in its Agreement with the city of Seward, dated
August 10, 1984, the Alaska Energy Authority agreed to transfer all
rights, title and interest in the Project to the city upon its
completion;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The city of Seward hereby accepts the transfer of
all rights, title and interest in the Seward to Daves Creek
Intertie Project to the city consistent with the 0 w n e r s hip
Transfer Agreement between the Alaska Energy Authority and the city
of Seward.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 23rd day of July, 1990.
