CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-102
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A CONTRACT FOR
VEHICLE TOWING AND IMPOUND SERVICES
WHEREAS, on July 6, 1990, the city advertised a request for
proposals to provide vehicle towing and impound services; and
WHEREAS, there were no responses to the city's RFP; and
WHEREAS, the city has negotiated a contract with the former
contractor who provided the service to the city;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
a contract for towing and impound services with William R. Rivers,
dba Rivers Towing Service, a copy of which is attached and
incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 10th day of September, 1990.
