CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-107
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A ONE-YEAR CONTRACT
EXTENSION FOR GARBAGE AND RUBBISH COLLECTION AND
DISPOSAL WITHIN THE CITY
WHEREAS, on October 19, 1989, the City Council authorized the
assignment of the contract for garbage and rubbish collection and
disposal from Herman Leirer, dba Seward Service, to Jason McDonald,
dba Jason Enterprises; and
WHEREAS, Paragraph 13 of the contract gives the city the
option to extend the contract for an additional one-year period;
and
WHEREAS, the city has been satisfied with the performance of
Mr. McDonald under the terms of the contract since it was trans-
ferred to him; and
WHEREAS, Mr. McDonald has verbally agreed to such a one-year
extension of the contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
