CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-121
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AWARDING A CONTRACT TO PROVIDE
METER READING SERVICES FOR THE CITY
WHEREAS, through mutual agreement, the contract between the
city and Les Dooley, dba Liberty Way, for the reading of electrical
and water meters has been terminated as of September 11, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the city
proposals to provide this
advertised
and
its
request
for
properly
service;
WHEREAS, the city received five responses to its RFP; and
WHEREAS, Schnell & Butts, dba Seward Aluminum Fabrication &
Welding, was the lowest responsive bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
a contract on behalf of the city with Seward Aluminum Fabrication
& Welding to provide meter reading services for the city for a
contract amount of $1,350 per month.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 8th day of October, 1990.
