CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-126
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
PURCHASE OF WINTER SAND
WHEREAS, on August 24, 1990, the city advertised a Request for
Proposals to provide 1,000 cubic yards of winter sandi and
WHEREAS, only two proposals were received in response to the
RFPi and
WHEREAS, Afognak Logging submitted the low bidi
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to issue a
purchase order to Afognak Logging in an amount not to exceed
$10,500.00 to provide 1,000 cubic yards of winter sand.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 8th day of October, 1990.
