PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 93-008
A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION, RECOMMENDING ADOPTION OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE
NO. 93-08, AMENDING THE SEWARD ZONING CODE, ~ 15.10.230,
SPECIAL SETBACKS, IN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT AND
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, City Code ~ 15.10.230 establishes special setbacks in the Central
Business District and Industrial District when they abut residential districts; and
WHEREAS, the Code is unclear as to its applicability to abutting districts separated
by a public right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, the addition of new residential zoning districts necessitates an update
of various sections in the Zoning Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning
Commission that:
Section 1. Proposed Ordinance No. 93-08, amending the Seward Zoning Code,
~ 15.10.230, Special Setbacks, is recommended for introduction and enactment by the City
Council.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning Commission this
7th day of April, 1993.
