Home My WebLink AboutRes1994-003 Sponsored by lones CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 94-03 A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION, GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO DONNA MAREK FOR A SELF CONTAINED FAST FOOD WAGON ON TAX PARCEL 147-33-08 WITHIN BLOCK 6, OCEANVIEW SUBDIVISION, AS AUTHORIZED BY ~ 15.10.320 OF THE SEWARD ZONING CODE WHEREAS, Donna Marek, with the concurrence of the Lessee, Intec, Inc., dba Alaska Treks N Voyages, has requested a Conditional Use Permit for a self contained fast food restaurant to be located on Tax Parcel 147-33-08 within Block 6, Oceanview Subdivision; and WHEREAS, an application meeting the requirements of Section 15.10.320(B) was submitted and received on February 7, 1994; and WHEREAS, this request is to place a fast food wagon on land located in the Harbor Commercial zone; and WHEREAS, a duly advertised public hearing, meeting the requirements of Section 15.01.040 has been held by the Planning and Zoning Commission on March 2, 1994; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning Commission that: Section 1. The proposed use is found to satisfy the conditions specified in Section 15.10.320(0) of the Seward City Code. Section 2. The City Clerk is authorized to issue a Conditional Use Permit to Donna Marek for a fast food restaurant located within a trailer on Tax Parcel 147-33-08 within Block 6, Oceanview Subdivision, subject to the following conditions: a. City Council approval of a sublease of a portion of lease site RE-49, leased to Intec Inc., dba Alaska Treks N Voyages. b. The unit is totally self contained and not "hard" connected to city utilities. c. The permit expires September 30, 1994. d. The operator provides on-site employee parking. Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
