PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 94-012
A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION, RECOMMENDING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
SCC ~ 15.10.140, DEFINITIONS
WHEREAS, the inclusion of detailed defInitions is important to insure that all parties
concerned understand the intent and meaning of terms used throughout the Seward Zoning Code;
and
WHEREAS, business opportunities, building construction methods and housing types are
always being created or changed; and
WHEREAS, it is important that the intent and meaning of terms used in city ordinances
are understood by both the public and the city staff; and
WHEREAS, the development of detailed defInitions will assist those interpreting and
administering the city zoning code; and
WHEREAS, the review and development of zoning defInitions has involved many
publicly announced work session;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning
Commission that:
Section 1. An ordinance amending Seward City Code ~ 15.10.140, DefInitions, attached
and incorporated herein by reference, is recommended for introduction and enactment by the
Seward City Council.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning Commission this 1st
day of June, 1994.
