PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 94-021
A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION, APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO
MCCAW CELLULAR COMMUNICATIONS, INC., DBA CELLULAR ONE,
FOR CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF AN UNMANNED ELECTRONIC
COMMUNICATIONS TOWER SITE WITHIN THE SEWARD MARINE
INDUSTRIAL CENTER
WHEREAS, McCaw Cellular Communications Inc., dba Cellular One, has
requested a Conditional Use Permit for construction and operation of an unmanned
electronic communications tower site within the Industrial District at 3213 Sorrel Road,
Seward Marine Industrial Center; and
WHEREAS, an application was submitted on October 10, 1994; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements set forth in SCC ~ 15.01.040, a
duly advertised public hearing was held by the Seward Planning and Zoning Commis-
sion on November 2,1994;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning
Commission that:
Section 1. The proposed use is found to satisfy the conditions specified in SCC
~ 15.10.320 D.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to issue a Conditional Use Permit
to McCaw Cellular Communications Inc., dba Cellular One, for construction and
operation of an unmanned electronic communications tower site within the Industrial
District located at 3213 Sorrel Road, SMIC, subject to the following conditions:
1. Design the site to allow for service vehicle access and parking.
2. Fence the site to delineate the property site.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning Commission this
2nd day of November, 1994.
