PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 2S:fi2
A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION, RECOMMENDING THE MUNICIPAL LAND MANAGEMENT PLAN
TO THE CITY COUNCIL FOR ADOPTION
WHEREAS, the City of Seward is the owner and custodian of many acres of public lands;
and
WHEREAS, having an accurate inventory of municipally owned lands is necessary to
make informed land management decisions; and,
WHEREAS, it is desirable to have a plan for the existing and proposed uses of municipal
lands; and
WHEREAS, a plan has been completed based on draft reviews and comments by
members of the Port and Commerce Advisory Board, industrial center users, Planning and Zoning
Commission members and city staff;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning
Commission that:
Section 1.
Resolution No. 95-01 is hereby rescinded.
Section 2. The Municipal Land Management Plan is forwarded with a recommenda-
tion that the City Council adopt the plan by resolution.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning Commission this 5th
day of April, 1995.
