<br />Sponsored by: Staff <br /> <br />CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION 2003-19 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING <br />COMMISSION, RECOMMENDING KENAI PENINSULA <br />BOROUGH APPROVAL OF LOT 25 & THE EAST 1/2 OF LOTS 26 <br />& 27, BLOCK 14, ORIGINAL TOWNSITE OF SEWARD, SHEA <br />REPLAT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Cline & Associates submitted to the City of Seward for review and <br />recommendation to the Kenai Peninsula Borough, a preliminary plat consisting of Lot 25 <br />& the East 1/2 of Lots 26 & 27, Block 14, Otiginal Townsite of Seward, Shea Replat; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this platting action creates a lot of approximately 5,992 square feet; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned R-1, Single Family Residential; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the new lot meets the minimum lot size and width requirement of <br />the Seward City Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property is currently serviced by municipal water, sewer and <br />electric; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Engineering and Utilities Department has stated that a <br />subdivision agreement is not required for this subdivision. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning <br />Commission that: <br /> <br />Section 1. The Commission recommends that the Kenai Peninsula Borough <br />approve Lot 25 & the East 1/2 of Lots 26 & 27, Block 14, Original Townsite, Shea <br />Replat, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. A ten (10) foot wide utility easement centered on the existing electrical line <br />servicing the West Y, of Lot 26, Block 14, Original Townsite of Seward shall <br />be added to the plat notes. <br /> <br />2. A ten (10) foot wide utility easement centered on the existing sewer line <br />servicing the West Y, of Lots 26 & 27, Block 14, Original Townsite of Seward <br />shall be added to the plat notes. <br />
