<br />Sponsored by: Planning and Zoning Commission <br /> <br />CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION 2003-25 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, <br />RECOMMENDING THE PLANNING COMMISSION PRIORITIES FOR <br />2004 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Seward Planning and Zoning Commission participates in a joint work <br />session with Council every March to establish priorities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Commission held a work session October 21, 2003 in order to review <br />Commission priorities, provide status updates for ongoing activities and establish time lines for <br />actions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Commission recommends that Council approve the priorities for 2004 <br />and be made aware of the status updates and recommended timelines; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its December 2nd, 2003 meeting the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />reviewed and approved submission to Council ofthe recommended priorities. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning <br />Commission that: <br /> <br />Section 1. The following list of priorities with status updates and timelines is hereby <br />recommended to the City Council for approval: <br /> <br />Planninl! Proiects <br /> <br />1. Comprehensive Plan Revision - In progress. <br /> <br />2. Capital Improvement Plan - Request that Capital Improvement Plan be part of the packet. <br /> <br />3. ADA Transition Plan - Add ADA review to building permit review and include it for <br />Certificate of Occupancy review. <br /> <br />4. ARRC Master Plan and Airport Master Plan - Maintain involvement with the process. <br /> <br />5. Land Use Plan - High Priority <br />
