PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 2004-02
RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMIS-
SION, RECOMMENDING KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH APPROVAL OF
LOT lA, BLOCK 15, ORIGINAL TOWNSITE OF SEWARD, TELALASKA
REPLA T
WHEREAS, Cooper and Company submitted a preliminary plat of Lot lA, Block 15,
Original Townsite of Seward, TeWaska Replat to the City of Seward for review and
recommendation to the Kenai Peninsula Borough: and
WHEREAS, the subdivision replat vacates the interior lot lines of Lots 1,2,3 and 4, Block
15 Original Townsite of Seward, and creates the single Lot 1A; and
WHEREAS, the property is zoned Central Business District; and
WHEREAS, the property is currently serviced by municipal water, sewer and electric; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering and Utilities Department has stated that a subdivision
installation agreement is not required for this subdivision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning
Commission that:
SectiQ" 1. The Commission recommends that the Kenai Peninsula Borough approve the Lot
lA, Block 15, Seward Original Townsite, TeWaska Replat, subject to the sub-divider meeting the
following conditions:
1. Title of the replat is changed to read Lot lA, Block 15, OriginalTownsite of Seward,
TelAlaska Replat.
2. Reference to Seward Townsite in the legal description in the title block read Original
Townsite of Seward.
3. The surveyor shall identifY any encroachments that exist.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
